Amanda Anderson PhD, LMFT

 

Dr. Anderson holds master and doctoral degrees in Marriage and Family therapy, specializing in couples therapy. She works with individuals, couples, and families. Dr. Anderson utilizes a systemic perspective that acknowledges the interactions between the client and the many facets of their life story. She is passionate about relationships, people, and creating a safe, therapeutic environment where change and healing can take place.

 

Dr. Anderson’s therapeutic process includes family mapping, emotional identification, and unearthing internal processes that maintain problem behaviors. Rather than a surface level “band-aid” fix, Dr. Anderson’s treatment style involves investigating life lessons, family and relationship patterns, and belief systems. Areas of expertise include communication, marital/relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, infidelity, and family therapy.

As a lifelong Harborite, Dr. Anderson understands the struggles of the local community as well as recognizes the resilience and big hearts of its residents. Kisa works with couples, individuals, and families across all stages of life. As a solution focused therapist, Kisa believes in a systemic approach to help you reach your goals in therapy while addressing all the changes and impacts of the world around you. Kisa is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran Univeraity, with a Masters dregree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She excited to return to Grays Harbor and serve in the community she calls home.

Justin Louis Washington holds a B.A. in Psychology, M.S. in Human Service, Ed.S in School Psychology, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, and is Board Certified Mental Health Coach, with a special focus on adolescent mental health. Justin’s professional experience includes over twenty-years of service. Justin specializes in helping the individual recognize their innate potential, working to maximize growth, healing, and goal attainment.

 

Justin is a sought after speaker and presenter providing training, development, and group coaching and puts a special focus in building capacity in areas of stress and mental health. Justin’s speaking journey takes him throughout the United States and Internationally.

 

Justin provides training and development in school settings and partners with K-12 schools that allow him to support student success and growth. Academic staff and parents utilize Justin’s expertise to strengthen student engagement.

Melissa Sexton MSW, LICSWA

 

Melissa enjoys working with teens, individuals and families. Melissa utilizes a systemic approach and recognizes the issues we often address in counseling are complex and dynamic in nature. Melissa partners with clients to develop goals and hold space to feel safe and supported.
Melissa has over 10 years’ experience providing home-based treatment throughout Grays Harbor & Pacific counties utilizing the evidence-based models Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Triple P Positive Parenting. Melissa draws upon this knowledge as well as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and narrative therapy.
Melissa graduated Eastern Washington University with a Masters in Social Work (MSW) and Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Bachelor of Science in Counseling. Melissa was born and raised in Pacific County and is pleased to be expanding her work on the Twin Harbors she describes as “home.”

Dianna Scott

Dianna Scott MS, LMHC

 

Dianna grew up in Pacific County but has lived in Grays Harbor County for the past 28 years. Dianna completed her undergrad degree with a BA in Law/Justice and later earned her Master’s in Science in Psychology. As a LMHC, Dianna has experience in school-based therapy with adolescents and young children with behavior issues and their families. She also has extensive knowledge of substance abuse disorders and how it affects behavior. Dianna is trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, and works with ages 12 and up, including individuals and families.

Lynette Lile MA, LMHC 

 

Lynette Lile earned her BA in Social Welfare (Work) from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA and her MA in Counseling and Community Psychology from St. Martin’s College in Lacey, WA. Her mental health career includes working with the chronically mentally ill adult population, providing Family Preservation Services, teaching Parenting Classes, providing mental health counseling services to adults and children. She now limits her practice to seeing children and adolescents and loves their creativity and resilience. This also enables her to work with parents who want to change their family dynamics and feel more successful in dealing with today’s challenges in raising both young children and adolescents. Lynette uses a Cognitive-Behavioral approach and uses Mindfulness and Expressive Arts well as Narrative Play Therapy and seeks to affirm what is already positive in one’s life.

Carly Allred

Carly Allred, LMFTA

 

Carly Allred is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Carly works with individuals, couples, and families who want to strengthen their relationships and develop healthier communication. Her approach is influenced by Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and she is currently completing advanced training in this model.

 

Carly brings a warm, compassionate, and collaborative style to therapy. As a wife and mother, she understands the importance of connection, balance, and navigating relationship challenges with care. Her goal is to create a space that feels affirming while also helping you identify the “losing strategies” that keep you stuck, so you can move toward more nourishing and effective patterns in your relationships.

Kia Gutierrez

Kia Gutierrez, MA, LMFT

 

Kia is a trauma-informed, attachment-focused Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with a deep commitment to helping couples and families build resilience, grow in emotional intelligence, and navigate life’s hard seasons with clarity and courage.
Kia’s approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, developmental attachment theory, and a relational worldview—meaning she looks beyond symptoms to understand the stories, patterns, and beliefs that keep individuals and relationships stuck. She partners with clients to strengthen communication, repair trust ruptures, and cultivate connection that lasts. Kia believes that growth takes guts, and she walks alongside clients with honesty, empathy, and unwavering support.
In her private practice, Kia specializes in trauma, marriage challenges, parenting stress, and family system dynamics. She also works with pastors and church leaders, offering focused support for those in ministry and leadership contexts. Kia draws on modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative and systemic methods, and somatic awareness to help clients feel seen, understood, and capable of real change.
Outside the therapy room, Kia is wife and mom to her young children, writes historical fiction, tends a backyard garden with a few chickens, and is passionate about expanding trauma-informed care through writing and training. She brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, creating space for healing that’s honest, grounded, and rooted in purpose.

Kisa enjoys providing hope, guidance, and a safe space for individuals on their journey. Kisa believes in a systemic approach utilizing her years of experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, functional family therapy skills and dialectical behavioral techniques. Kisa works with individuals from all walks of life and meets them where they are in their journey and provides hope moving forward. She believes everyone has the potential to be the person they strive to be and that we are always learning and growing as individuals. Kisa has experience working in the substance use disorder and mental health arenas with both adolescents and adults.
Kisa graduated from St Martins College with a master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Psychology.

Kacie Powell

Kacie Powell, BA

 

Kacie is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern pursuing her master’s degree at Grand Canyon University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Washington State University, providing her with a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, mental health, and the systems that impact individuals and communities.

Kacie brings three years of experience supporting individuals and families facing a variety of challenges. For two years, she worked in family behavioral health and crisis response utilizing a WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) team approach, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary providers to support youth with complex behavioral and mental health needs. Most recently, she served as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) in a middle school setting, providing prevention, intervention, and treatment services to adolescents. She is eager to continue expanding her knowledge and clinical skills through supervised counseling practice.

Kacie values building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. Her experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families has strengthened her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Kacie is committed to meeting clients where they are and collaborating with them as they work toward personal growth, healing, and overall well-being.

Her experience in healthcare settings and her prioritization of client care makes her an invaluable part of the Anderson Therapy Group team.
